Greg Cicchino - big stories told simply
I am a stage director in pursuit of opportunities to share my abilities and collaborative efforts in ways that defy the saturated commercial market. I seek to use my strong and unique artistic voice to find the key synthesis in the business of theater - to make it marketable, yet to bring theater as an art form back to its roots - the telling of stories. Both extremes have their value - the former being an economical necessary to keep a theater open; but the latter being what I believe to be an even deeper basic human need. I am currently based in New York, but am looking to focus on my art wherever I can. I am looking for places to work and co-collaborators to work with that will allow me that freedom to create, and find that balance.
